Role

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, ensuring high performance, availability, and capacity planning.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues, supporting application deployments and upgrades.
  • Implement security best practices, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python) to optimize routine tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, generate reports on performance, uptime, and security incidents.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, mentor junior members, and support business objectives through effective teamwork.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator/Engineer with expertise in Linux distributions (Red Hat preferred).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Proxmox).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman) and orchestration tools (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in shell scripting and at least one other programming language (e.g., Python, Perl), and knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
  • Relevant certifications such as RHCE, LPIC, or CompTIA Linux+ are a plus.
