As the Accountant for Belgian entities, you will ensure the accuracy and reliability of all financial processes and reports. Your responsibilities will include:

• Full-Scope Accounting: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, supplier/customer invoicing, payroll entries, and tax declarations (including HR-related taxes).
• Month-End Closings: Prepare and review financial statements monthly in collaboration with the centralized finance team, and resolve outstanding items.
• Cross-Team Coordination: Partner with FP&A, legal, and operational teams to improve internal processes and drive finance system upgrades.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with external parties such as auditors, tax advisors, and legal consultants to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Data Integrity: Monitor and verify financial data quality, implementing corrections when needed.
• Finance Center Launch: Play a key role in developing an Accounting Center of Excellence for broader European coverage within the next year.
• Project Involvement: Contribute to various finance-related projects and support the broader finance leadership.

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Fluent in English and French.
• 3–4 years of experience in a generalist accounting role, with solid knowledge of payroll and tax.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and used to navigating both daily operations and strategic tasks.
