Senior PHP developer

Develop scalable backend solutions

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications and APIs.
• Build reliable services supporting the platform's core functionality.
• Create reusable, maintainable, and scalable backend architectures.
• Ensure applications meet high standards for security, performance, and availability.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve scalability and system reliability.

Build and maintain integrations

• Develop integrations with Property Management Systems (PMS), IoT devices, payment providers, and other third-party solutions.
• Design APIs that enable smooth and reliable data exchange between systems.
• Analyse and resolve integration issues and optimise performance where needed.
• Work together with external technology partners to deliver stable integrations.

Deliver high-quality, production-ready software

• Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.
• Take ownership of features throughout the entire development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Contribute to code reviews and help establish strong engineering practices.
• Monitor applications in production and proactively identify and resolve technical issues.

Collaborate across teams

• Partner closely with Frontend Developers to create reliable and efficient APIs.
• Share technical knowledge and provide input to colleagues, Sales, and customers when relevant.
• Contribute to technical decisions and help the wider team continuously improve.

You bring:

• Strong experience developing and delivering backend applications using a modern programming language.
• Hands-on experience designing and working with RESTful APIs.
• Experience connecting applications with third-party systems and external APIs.
• A solid understanding of databases, software architecture, and scalable system design.
• Experience developing or working with cloud-based applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with attention to detail.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with other technical and non-technical colleagues.
• A genuine interest in building reliable, high-performing software at scale.
