Our client is hiring a VAT Consultant for a Manager position within a team of 15. The setup is straightforward and healthy: a stable team for over 10 years, steady growth, and plenty of room to evolve. With more than 60 years in the market, the firm offers a solid platform without the usual churn.
You’ll join a global network active in Audit, Tax, and Advisory, combining international reach with strong local know-how. About the Role
- Manage a team of 10-15 individuals
- Prepare VAT & Intrastat reports
- Ensure account reconciliations with VAT returns
- Collaborate with Belgian and foreign VAT authorities, staying abreast of VAT legislation evolution
- Defend VAT files during audits
- Mitigate risks and exposures for businesses
- Collaborate with the VAT team to enhance and optimize VAT procedures and processes
About the Profile
- Hold a bachelor’s & Master degree in Accounting or Legal studies
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the VAT or Tax domain
- Fluent in English, with a good proficiency in French and/or Dutch
- Communicative and professional, with the ability to easily establish and maintain relationships
- Capable of working under pressure while respecting confidentiality
