Finance Manager Executive Role - Zaventem

Role
As Global Finance Lead / Finance Lead – Coordinator, you will play a central role at both local (Belgium/Europe) and group level. You act as a financial co-pilot to management, while remaining closely connected to day-to-day operations.
This is a hands-on, executive role, combining leadership, coordination, and operational finance responsibilities within an international and evolving environment.
Local Finance Responsibilities (Belgian entities)
- Financial leadership for multiple legal entities
- Cash management (cash flow, payments, financing, FX exposure, hedging)
- Monthly and annual closings (BE GAAP)
- Statutory and management reporting
- Coordination of external audits
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Main point of contact for banks and insurance partners
- Supervision and coordination of a small finance team
- Ensuring accuracy, continuity, and timely delivery of financial processes
- Coaching and supporting team members in their development
Group-Level Responsibilities
- Acting as a finance reference point at group level, in close collaboration with international counterparts
- Coordination with finance leads across different regions
- Structuring and monitoring intercompany flows and internal deadlines
- Supporting transfer pricing, consolidation, and group reporting topics
- Liaising with external advisors (audit, tax, legal)
- Contributing to the continued integration and alignment of group entities
You will work in close collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders across the group.
Profile
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent
- ±15 years of relevant experience in finance
- Experience within SMEs, international groups, or family-owned businesses is a strong asset
- Ability to combine strategic insight with hands-on execution
- Strong analytical mindset, pragmatic and autonomous
- Comfortable operating in a less structured, fast-evolving environment
- Excellent Excel skills; exposure to ERP transformations and BI tools is a plus
- Languages: Dutch and English required; French and/or German are an asset
