Service Desk Engineer - The Job
- Provide customer support via phone and ticketing system (1st & 2nd line)
- Prepare orders and configure routers for deployment
- Manage inventory and network equipment
- Monitor the network proactively to prevent issues
- Handle site installations for new provisioning, including retail, construction sites, and events
Service Desk Engineer - The Profile
- Practical knowledge of VLAN, VPN, WAN interfaces, LAN design/implementation, IP routing, basic firewall configuration, and mobile technologies (3G/4G/5G, satellite)
- Strong customer care skills and pride in ensuring customer satisfaction
- High motivation to learn cutting-edge technologies (SDWAN, SDN) and implement innovative solutions such as 4G bonding, mobile VPNs, and hybrid deployments
- Strong communication skills in French and English; basic Dutch is a plus
