Senior Accountant with Knowledge in BE GAAP in Brussels

Our partner is an international player, operating across several continents, and is looking for a Senior Accountant for its headquarters in Brussels.

Role

Handle the full accounting process (A–Z) for the headquarters and its international subsidiaries (10 entities).
Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, as well as group consolidation.
Ensure compliance with accounting procedures (BE GAAP) and participate in reviewing internal policies.
Manage annual audits with external firms (e.g., EY) and handle local taxation.
Monitor intercompany transactions and optimize financial processes.
Control budgets and general expenses, providing financial analyses to management teams.
Collaborate with local teams and international management to ensure alignment and consistency in reporting

Profile

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (Master’s degree is a plus).
Experience: At least 5 years in an international finance/accounting environment.
Languages & soft skills: Fluent in French and English (or Dutch and English); confidentiality, strong communication skills, analytical mindset, adaptability, autonomy, and team spirit.

Competitive salary up to €4,500 gross/month, adjustable according to experience and skills.
