IP / IT / Innovation Associate

Our client is a boutique law firm, deeply rooted in entrepreneurship and innovation, and is looking for an IP/IT to strengthen its growing Innovation practice.

Your duties and responsibilities

As part of the Innovation / Tech practice, you will:

Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of IP, ICT, data protection and commercial agreements (licensing, SaaS, e-commerce, services, distribution, partnerships, co-development, etc.)
Support and partially manage trademark matters (searches, advice, filings, procedures and related disputes)
Work on IP monetisation strategies and transactions
Assist in legal due diligence of innovative and tech-driven companies
Advise clients on technology-driven business models and collaborative ecosystems
Structure and negotiate various partnership and collaboration models
Manage files and client relationships with a high degree of autonomy

Ideal profile

Experience: 3–6 years of experience in IP law, with exposure to IT and/or commercial law (law firm background preferred)
Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English (French is an asset)
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Law (additional specialisation in IP / IT / ICT law is a strong plus)
