Dutch Speaking Head-accountant | Growing SME

Our partner is a fast-growing SME in the north of Flemish Brabant, looking for a head-accountant to guide the accounting department on daily basis.

Our partner is an SME, that has been growing well in the past few years, but still has big pla,s for the future. They want to expand and become the main player in their industry in Belgium. To achieve this goal, they are looking for a head-accountant that can lead the financial team (3/4 FTE's), can bring some order in the accountancy to make sure they are ready for the upcoming years and be ready for the expansion. There is a collaboration with an external accountant at the start, the goal is to do everything in house.

Head Accountant | Your Role

What will you be doing on a daily basis?

Management of the finance team
Financial reporting and analyses
Being responsible for the ful laccounting cycle, including the monthly- and yearly closings, preparting the VAT declaration and take care of fiscal matters
Be the person of contact and support the audit processes
Preparation of the yearly accounts and oversee the budget and cash flows
Help out operationaly with the accounting team

Head Accountant | Your profile

The ideal candidate:

Has at least 4 years of experience in an all around accounting position, idealy with management experience
Speaks fluent dutch at an almost native level, with a knowledge of English and French
Has at least a bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial field
