Azure Platform Engineer

• Design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Build, manage and support Microsoft Azure platform services.
• Develop reusable platform components, automation solutions and reference architectures.
• Support application and workload teams with their onboarding onto the cloud platform.
• Manage and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage GitHub repositories, branching strategies and deployment workflows.
• Implement cloud security controls and governance standards.
• Collaborate with architects, development teams, data teams and external partners.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

• At least 3 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Extensive knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Kubernetes, preferably AKS.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, including VNETs, Private Endpoints, DNS, Load Balancers, NSGs and Firewalls.
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD environments.
• Knowledge of cloud security, identity management and monitoring.
• Experience working in enterprise environments.
• Fluent English. Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to work 2 days/week onsite in Zwijnaarde.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AWS.
• Experience working in a highly regulated industry.
• Experience within a Platform Engineering or internal Cloud Services environment.
• Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, Terraform Associate or CKA.
