Our partner, a leading IT business developer in Belgium, is looking to strengthen their software customer team.
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for customers, resolving technical issues and translating business needs into IT solutions. You will also contribute to projects with national impact, making a real difference.
Application Support - What's The job?
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing incidents and ensuring timely, professional communication.
- Register, classify, and resolve support tickets efficiently, escalating to the development team when necessary.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues thoroughly, gathering all relevant data for effective resolution.
- Collaborate closely with the Service Desk in Brussels and the Software Factory to maintain high-quality support.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, provide timely user notifications during downtime, and offer standby support as needed.
Application Support - Who Are You ?
- Technical Expertise: Strong experience with databases (MSSQL/Oracle), T-SQL, REST APIs, network fundamentals (TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP/HTTPS, 4G/5G, WiFi, GPS), Windows OS, Microsoft IIS, and familiarity with Azure, Application Insights, Android OS, and source control (SVN, DevOps).
- Problem Solving & Adaptability: Excellent troubleshooting skills, resilience under stress, and eagerness to learn new technologies, including specialized tools like MCL.
- Programming & Web Development: Knowledge of C#, ASP/ASP.NET, and ability to handle complex queries, scripts, and debugging tasks.
- Communication & Collaboration: Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
