Accounting Specialist | International Consumer Goods Group

Our partner is a global organization seeking an Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting operations and monthly closings in an international setup.

You will join a well-established international group active in the consumer goods sector, known for its structured finance processes and collaborative culture. The role offers hands-on exposure to general accounting, accounts payable and cross-border finance operations, making it ideal for a young accounting professional looking to grow within a stable and international environment.

Accounting Specialist | Your Role

Support general accounting activities and monthly closing processes
Record and reconcile general ledger accounts in line with Belgian and Dutch accounting standards
Manage daily accounting entries, including supplier invoices and employee expenses
Coordinate accounts payable activities: invoice booking, payment proposals and supplier follow-up
Ensure correct classification of costs and timely financial reporting
Maintain vendor master data and accounting documentation in line with internal guidelines
Collaborate with shared service centers to ensure accurate invoice processing
Support audit preparations and internal control procedures
Assist internal stakeholders with accounting and payment-related queries
Prepare reports on outstanding invoices and accounts payable activities

Accounting Specialist | Your Profile

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance administration or a similar role
Languages: Fluent English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
