Accounting Assistant - SAAS Company near Leuven
Our client is actively seeking an Accounting Assistant/Junior Accountant in the Flemish Brabant near Leuven.

Role
As an Assistant Accountant, you will join a collaborative finance team and contribute to the accuracy and reliability of daily financial operations. You will work closely with experienced finance professionals and support recurring accounting processes in an international setting.
This position is well suited for someone with initial accounting experience who is eager to grow, learn, and take on responsibility in a dynamic environment.
This is a full-time position with a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices and employee expense reports
- Preparing and following up on payments in line with internal controls
- Reconciling bank statements and financial transactions
- Supporting general ledger reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end closing activities
- Providing ad hoc support to senior accounting and finance colleagues
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of finance processes
Profil
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting support or accounting
- 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial data
- Good understanding of accounting principles (European standards preferred)
- Experience in an international or multi-entity environment is an asset
Languages
- English and Dutch: professional working proficiency
- French: an advantage but not a strict requirement
