Senior VAT Consultant | Role

Act as a trusted advisor and first point of contact for a diversified portfolio of national and international clients
Provide high-quality technical VAT advice (Belgian and cross-border matters)
Work on VAT projects including implementation, optimisation, regularisation and VAT health checks
Assist clients during VAT audits and manage discussions with the authorities
Supervise and review VAT compliance files (Belgian and international obligations)
Handle assignments autonomously while progressively taking on more complex cases
Collaborate closely with colleagues from other service lines (corporate tax, legal, accounting, audit)
Contribute to the further development of the VAT practice in Belgium

Senior VAT Consultant | Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Law or a related field
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in VAT, accounting or financial advisory
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
Able to communicate complex VAT matters clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Fluent in Dutch and English (French is an asset)
Hands-on, detail-oriented and client-focused
Comfortable working independently while being a strong team player
