Our partner is an international and well-established organisation with operations across several European locations. Its IT environment supports a diverse international workforce and relies on a collaborative team of engineers to keep everything running smoothly.

As a Senior System Engineer, you will join a small and technically versatile IT team, working closely with engineers and colleagues across different countries. This is not a role limited to ticket resolution: you will work across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support, infrastructure, cloud and systems administration, while contributing to the continuous improvement of the IT environment.

Senior System Engineer - Your Role

Provide 1st, 2nd & 3rd line support, troubleshooting a broad range of hardware, software, endpoint and infrastructure issues.
Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Windows and endpoint environments.
Manage user lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding and access management.
Handle incidents, requests, problems and changes within an ITIL-based service environment, using Jira for ticket management.
Work closely with international IT engineers, external providers and technical partners to resolve issues and maintain service quality.
Contribute to IT projects, process improvements, documentation and knowledge sharing, while providing technical backup to the wider team.

Senior System Engineer - Your Profile

5+ years of experience as a System Engineer or Service Engineer or in a similar infrastructure-focused role.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows environments.
Solid experience across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support, with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable working within an ITIL-based environment and using Jira for IT service management.
Strong communication skills and a genuine service-oriented mindset; you enjoy working with people as much as solving technical challenges.
Fluent English is essential; French and/or Dutch are a strong plus.
