We are actively looking for a Senior Accountant for one of our clients active in the engineering industry and located in Brussels West.

Our partner is looking for a hands-on Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting for Belgium, handle audits, and provide occasional accounting support for other countries when needed. You will also assist the HR Manager with payroll management. Some processes are still being defined, and optimization is key. Your insights will help shape the future of the department.
Senior Accountant - Function:
- Manage day-to-day accounting for the Belgian entity
- Prepare and complete annual financial statements
- Oversee month-end and year-end closings
- Carry out controlling activities to aid in strategic financial decision-making
- Facilitate audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Offer insights and recommendations to enhance financial operations
Senior Accountant - Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- At least 4 years of experience in AZ Accounting
- You are fluent in English and French
- Since you will work independently on the accounting of the Belgian entity, you are quickly autonomous and take ownership of your responsibilities
- You take initiatives and enjoy exploring new ways to improve processes
- You thrive in a dynamic setting and quickly adjust to changes
