Polyvalent Role of Accountant and Financial Controller in BX

As a member of the finance team, you contribute to the reliability of the accounting records and support financial reporting. You work closely with internal stakeholders such as HR and management and assist in optimizing processes.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring and analyzing general ledger accounts and balance sheet items
• Processing payroll entries and reconciling provisions in collaboration with external partners
• Actively participating in monthly and year-end closings
• Reconciling intercompany transactions, bank accounts, and payroll-related accounts
• Supporting VAT filings and preparing audit documentation
• Contributing to monthly reporting and KPI monitoring
• Analyzing variances and providing explanations to management
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, including financial simulations
• Contributing ideas for the optimization and automation of financial processes (ERP systems, payroll integrations, digital tools)
• Ensuring timely and accurate financial information to support management decision-making

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Initial relevant experience in accounting, audit, or controlling is an asset
• Strong analytical skills and interest in financial data
• Good knowledge of Excel and affinity with financial systems
• Accurate, structured, and discreet in handling confidential information
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Fluent professional knowledge of Dutch and English
