We are looking for a Head Accountant to reinforce the team and lead the finance team, the accounting team, the fiscality team and credit team.
Role
- Manage the Accounting & Collection functions with their respective team leaders.
- Develop and implement strategies and processes for both accounting and collection.
- Lead Finance Transformation Program to improve performance in both areas.
- Oversee profit & loss, balance sheets, tax reports, and financial accuracy.
- Monitor overdue payments, ensure cash flow, and make timely decisions.
- Minimize overdue payments and handle escalation procedures for unpaid invoices.
- Advise on accounting, taxation, collection efficiency, and risk management.
- Collaborate with sales, legal, risk, and controlling departments.
- Ensure proper tax treatment of operational processes and financial reporting.
- Serve as the main contact for auditors, tax authorities, and stakeholders.
- Handle legal reporting to authorities and external accounting/tax results.
- Implement tax law changes within the organization.
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders and meet reporting deadlines.
- Manage budgets and prepare annual proposals for the CFO.
Profile
- You have at least 8 years of experience in a finance role with knowledge in accounting and collection
- You have experience in people management of at least 10 people
- You know like the back of your hand tax regulations
- You like project managing
- You are trilingual in French, Dutch and English
- You are excellent in Excel
