The team has expanded significantly over the past few years. From a small group at the start, the company now employs nearly 200 people, with a core team based in Belgium. The workforce is young, dynamic, and remarkably diverse, representing over 50 nationalities. This diversity is celebrated through regular offsite events, which bring together colleagues from different locations.
Our client is looking for a motivated GL Accountant to strengthen its growing finance team. You’ll join a close-knit, collaborative environment, working hand-in-hand with the Finance Manager and an experienced General Accountant.
This role offers the perfect balance between hands-on accounting operations and the opportunity to contribute to more strategic, analytical finance initiatives, making it an ideal next step for someone eager to grow and make an impact within a dynamic and international company.
Function:
- Manage full-cycle accountancy and monthly VAT for the Belgian entity
- Performe intercompany reconciliations
- Supporte month-end closing, group consolidation and flux analysis
- Assist with statutory accounts preparation and annual audit
- Act as primary accounting contact
- Contribute to the implementation of new tools and process automation projects
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least 2 years of experience in general accounting
- You are fluent in English
- You thrive in a collaborative and fast-moving team environment
- You take full ownership of your work and are highly responsible
- You are a self-starter who loves solving problems and learning quickly
