Finance Controller Manager
Lead a high-performing finance team and take ownership of project financial performance within a global consultancy operating across multiple markets.

Your responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Project Finance Controllers across Europe and Asia.
- Oversee project financial performance, forecasting, margin optimisation and cost-to-complete reviews across a diverse portfolio.
- Analyse financial results, challenge assumptions and provide actionable insights to Project Managers, Directors and Senior Leadership.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with IFRS, US GAAP, ASC 606 and internal policies.
- Prepare management reporting, including revenue, costs, margins, variances, risks and opportunities.
- Oversee project set-up, contract reviews, amendments and financial data throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor billing, WIP, aged debt, collections and cash flow forecasting.
- Support month-end closing, including accruals, reconciliations and financial reporting.
Ideal Profile
- Experience: You have 8–10 years of experience in project finance, controlling or financial management, ideally within a consultancy or professional services environment, combined with proven team management experience in a multinational or matrix organisation.
- Languages: You are fluent in English and comfortable working with international stakeholders across multiple countries.
- Qualifications: You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field. Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and ASC 606 is required. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, Power BI or Maconomy are strong assets.
