Finance Controller Manager

Lead a high-performing finance team and take ownership of project financial performance within a global consultancy operating across multiple markets.

Your responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a team of Project Finance Controllers across Europe and Asia.
Oversee project financial performance, forecasting, margin optimisation and cost-to-complete reviews across a diverse portfolio.
Analyse financial results, challenge assumptions and provide actionable insights to Project Managers, Directors and Senior Leadership.
Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with IFRS, US GAAP, ASC 606 and internal policies.
Prepare management reporting, including revenue, costs, margins, variances, risks and opportunities.
Oversee project set-up, contract reviews, amendments and financial data throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor billing, WIP, aged debt, collections and cash flow forecasting.
Support month-end closing, including accruals, reconciliations and financial reporting.

Ideal Profile

Experience: You have 8–10 years of experience in project finance, controlling or financial management, ideally within a consultancy or professional services environment, combined with proven team management experience in a multinational or matrix organisation.
Languages: You are fluent in English and comfortable working with international stakeholders across multiple countries.
Qualifications: You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field. Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and ASC 606 is required. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, Power BI or Maconomy are strong assets.
