Experienced Accountant | International Finance Team

Our partner is an international organization strengthening its Belgian finance team and looking for a skilled Experienced Accountant to support their growth.

Our client is a global, multicultural company with a strong presence in Belgium and Europe. You will join a dynamic Corporate Accounting team operating across borders, with the opportunity to take ownership of Belgian statutory accounting while contributing to broader financial projects and process improvements. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys combining operational accounting with analytical responsibilities in an international environment.

Experienced Accountant | Your Role

Execute general accounting activities fully compliant with Belgian GAAP
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings with high accuracy and timeliness
Prepare and review statutory financial statements and internal financial reports
Support internal and external audits, delivering documents and analytical insights
Handle VAT, corporate income tax, and other Belgian statutory filings
Perform balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and intercompany transactions
Collaborate closely with finance teams in Belgium and abroad
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes
Participate in process improvements, automation, and system optimization

Exeperienced Accountant | Your Profile

Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting/audit within an international or Belgian context
Languages: Fluent in English and Dutch; French is an asset
Qualifications: Bachelor or Master in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar by experience
